This home is imagined as a series of “corners of curiosity” — intimate pockets where curated and commissioned artworks reflect the Client’s personality, stories, and sense of play. Each turn reveals something personal and intentionally placed, creating a house that feels both expressive and lived-in. From the outset, the Client’s eclectic art collection shaped the design direction. Playful, slightly rebellious, and full of colour, the artworks became active collaborators — informing the palette, materials, and atmosphere of each space. Rather than following a conventional open-plan layout, we embraced the existing structure to create moments of intrigue, layering views and experiences throughout the home. A base of forest green anchors the interiors, complemented by warm wood, marble, and tactile materials. Key spaces — from the gallery-like living room to the light-filled study and whimsical dining area — are designed to balance function with delight. Ultimately, the vision remained consistent: to create a home that feels joyful, honest, and deeply personal. It is a space not only to live in, but to grow into — shaped over time by the people and stories it holds.
