Studio Periphery
Built in the 1990s, this apartment was run-down but boasted a unique layout that was underutilized and dark. The internal layout was reimagined to create a central focal point—the dining room. Patterned tiles, arranged almost like a carpet, were used to demarcate this space, making it a standout feature visible from nearly every part of the home. Full-height glass panels provide a charming backdrop, perfect for hosting elegant dinner parties. A balcony with operable screens was added to the living area, helping to shield the space from the harsh western sun while offering a serene retreat. Patterns and colors were playfully incorporated throughout, with a feature red marble introduced in the foyer and master suite, adding a touch of elegance and maturity to the overall design.
